Sufjan Stevens released his first LP in 5 years on Oct 12.
Check out “Too Much” from The Age Of Adz (pronounced as “Odds”). I’m pretty sure this guy is a musical prophet and essentially represents the future of music as we know it. Equally electronic and orchestral, accessible and abstract, this is a dense album that defies genre and convention. Listen to it with headphones. Or buy the vinyl (not available until next month!) and immerse yourself in it with some tonally warm speakers.
I don’t want to sound like I have a man-crush on Mr. Stevens, but…well…I do. Deal with it.
